Retail Design Expo 2015: Exhibitors set to return next year

A number of companies have already signed contracts to formally book their stands at Retail Design Expo 2016. Among them is surface finishes specialist Armourcoat. “We were delighted with Retail Design Expo. It speaks volumes about the recovery in the industry,” says Armourcoat group managing director Daniel Nevitt. He likens the atmosphere at the event to the state of the retail design sector before the recession.

Shopfitting group Umdasch attended Retail Design Expo to highlight premium and travel retail services based in its UK office, and was impressed with the standard of visitors. “It just felt right, “ says director Toby Baker. “We will be back next year.” The company held its UK Shop Academy Forum and spoke to a London delegation of businesses from Lower Austria during the same week, making the capital the focus of its attention for a concentrated period.

“It was amazing, the best show we have been to for years,” says Fairfield Displays founder Janice Fairfield of Retail Design Expo. “We’ve done a lot of shows and you don’t normally get the visitors out – you really did a great job.” The company launched its new Pixalux range at the event to an enormously positive response, having been asked to provide quotes for retailers interested in ordering hundreds of units.

“We are overjoyed that our exhibitors had such a good event,” says Retail Design Expo event director Annie Swift. “We knew that the industry was crying out for an event of this kind, and the energy our exhibitors brought along shows just how much they wanted it. It points to an even bigger, better Retail Design Expo in 2016.”

Retail Design Expo 2016 will take place on 9-10 March 2016.
