Eleanor Dallaway is Publisher of Retail Design World, and as a result of her twelve years in the job, knows more about information security than most English Literature graduates should. She spends her working days interviewing industry professionals, keeping the website updated with news on an hourly basis, editing the magazine, and attending industry events. Day job aside, Eleanor crams her diary full socialising with her friends and family. Any small gaps in her social life are reserved for a good book and an even better glass of wine.

Matthew Valentine has been writing about design and retail for more than 20 years, holding positions at Retail Week and Design Week before becoming editor of In-Store in 2000. He has contributed to a variety of titles including Marketing Week, was editor of The Brand Communications Book for two years, and was a senior contributing editor at Stylus.

He was the launch editor for Retail Design World in 2014.

Simon Phillips is the Digital and Sponsorships Sales Manager for Retail Design World.

With a Sales & marketing career spanning more than 20 years he has experience working on every Media channel – Local, National and Global press, Magazines, TV, Radio, Exhibitions, Events – Outdoor and Indoor, Digital. He’s launched and commercialised many websites, events and titles across sectors including Property, Luxury, Financial Services and Retail. A happy and satisfied client is what really makes him tick.

A father of 3 boys, Simon spends most of his spare time living and breathing Little league football. A modern day Kenny Dalglish he also enjoys relaxing at home with a bottle of IPA or a large glass of Albarino with his long-suffering wife Helen.

Rebecca Harper is Portfolio Head of Digital Marketing for the technologies division. For more than 10 years she has successfully developed and implemented a wide variety of online and digital campaigns and is a firm believer in the combination of creativity, technology and collaboration being the cornerstones of success (it's not as corny as it sounds, we promise!) When she's not obsessing about all things digital or advising her long-suffering friends and family about the virtues of online safety, Rebecca can be found with a good book in one hand and G&T in the other. Oh, and live music? She's your go-to gig companion.
