Simply Be and Jacamo step up move from online only by opening more physical stores

Internet and catalogue home shopping company N Brown Group is extending its store opening programme. The brand has opened a joint Simply Be and Jacamo store in Belfast and will be opening a flagship in London’s Oxford Street later in September.

Further sites are under development in Norwich, Edinburgh and Merry Hill, while there are ten existing stores in locations including Leeds, Doncaster and Bury.

Simply Be, a fashion brand aimed at larger women aged 30-45, and Jacamo, aimed at larger men of the same age, both started as online brands. N Brown offers a wide range of brands targeted at different groups.

The Belfast store is the first to use a new store format, designed by Barber Design. The format will be applied to new openings though a different approach, also by Barber Design, will be used for the Oxford Street branch.

The Belfast store (pictured) is a large unit totalling more than 8,000 sq ft over two levels.
