Design showcase: First physical store for online stationery brand Jennibick

Online stationery brand Jennibick Fine Custom Journals has opened its first physical store, in Washington DC. GTM Architects designed the store, in Dupont Circle.

Jennibick founders Jenni and Robby Bick briefed the agency to create a space to display the brand’s ranges of journals, notebooks, sketchbooks, albums and stationery.

The interior reflect the brand’s online aesthetic, with light coloured walls, hardwood flooring and wooden shelves allowing the products to stand out.

Full height windows ensure high levels of natural light.

Jennibick Fine Custom Journals was founded in 1990, selling its own handmade products. As well as its own ranges, the store carries popular stationery products from brands such as Moleskine and Paperblanks.
