H&M to open largest UK store at Westfield Stratford

Swedish fashion retailer H&M is to open its largest store in the UK – and one of the largest in the world – at Westfield Stratford. The store will open on 21 April, as the store relocates from its original position in the centre.

The 5074 sq m (54,616 sq ft) store, designed in-house, is arranged over three floors. As well as the brand’s full fashion range it will stock its collections of homewares and beauty products.

“The new  store will become our largest in the UK and IE, as well as a global flagship store,” says H&M UK and IE country manager Carlos Duarte. “Westfield Stratford gives the brand an exciting opportunity to showcase our entire fashion offering to both new and existing customers.”

H&M was founded in 1947, opened its first UK store in 1976, and now has more than 260 outlets in the country.
