US paint brand Benjamin Moore opens first UK showroom

US designer paint brand Benjamin Moore has opened its first UK store, on London’s Fulham Road.

The 121 sq m (1,300 sq ft) store, at 263 Fulham Road, has been designed by creative director Andrew Tomlinson at Crucial Projects.

The store stocks the brand’s premium paints from a range of more than 3,500 shades.

Available in the UK since September 2015 online and through Shaw Paints, Benjamin Moore has caught the attention of leading luxury retailers including Michael Kors and Coach, which have used its paints in their stores. To coincide with the London launch, Benjamin Moore is holding an exclusive invitation-only event to key interior designers in the area.

“For our first exclusive showroom in the UK it was important we got the location just right.  Set within one of the capital’s most iconic areas and with a rich heritage, Fulham Road is home to some of London’s best interior design shops and we cannot wait to be among this vivid retail community.”

“Benjamin Moore’s brand has a real affinity with the character of the Sloane Stanley Estate and they will be a wonderful addition to our premium interiors and lifestyle offer,” says Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at property group Sloane Stanley, which owns and manages the properties in the area.
