More features as Retail Digital Signage Expo 2018 doubles in size

RDSE will remain co-located with Retail Design Expo and RBTE, and will introduce a number of new features in its first full year being run by parent company Reed Exhibitions, while allowing easy access to the related shows within Olympia.

Scheduled product demonstrations will be introduced in 2018, allowing visitors to ensure they don’t miss some large scale and spectacular displays. There will also be a new My Event online meeting and diary tool, to help exhibitors and visitors manage their time at the show more effectively.

Popular features from previous years will return, including a full conference schedule, and a Champagne Bar where the Big Party will be hosted on the first evening of the event.

The expanded RDSE has already attracted a number of new exhibitors, including LG and SCS.

LG will use the event to showcase new technology which enables curved and shaped retail displays, as seen on a huge scale in the Dubai Mall, says LG marketing manager Nasser Malik. “The latest innovations in large scale display technology for centrepiece signage including video walls and big screens with interactive applications and content for customer engagement,” will be on display on the group’s stand.

SCS lists retail brands including Argos, Next, Oasis, and Sainsbury’s among its clients, for which it provides a range of digital signage services, including installation and maintenance. “We are client driven and technology-agnostic, meaning that we listen and understand our clients’ needs and budget. Then we research and specify what we believe to be the most appropriate hardware / software platform,” says SCS director Bryan Trafford. The company will be showing new products including its interactive floor and digital mirror ranges at Retail Design Expo 2018.

“2018 will see Retail Digital Signage Expo enter into its third year and we are delighted that we have so much interest in the event. With representation from leading brands such as LG and Skratch the quality of exhibitors will be better than ever. The show is set to double in size which demonstrates the importance of digital signage in the retail market,” says event manager Sarah Adams.
