Nespresso Boutique for Touchwood

Coffee brand Nespresso has opened a new boutique store at Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull, in the West Midlands.

The 186 sq m (2,000 sq ft) branch includes in-store features such as an Atelier Table for tastings, with a coffee expert on hand to explain taste and aroma in side-by-side tastings of different blends. Nespresso’s entire range is available at the store.

The store concept has been developed by Universal Design Studio. In line with Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability it features tabletops made of used coffee grounds and wood sourced from reforestation programmes on coffee farms.

“We are delighted to invite shoppers to taste and learn about Nespresso Original and Vertuo coffees, machines and accessories,” says Nespresso UK & Ireland managing director Francisco Nogueira. “Our retail expansion continues to be a priority and we want to bring the Nespresso experience to as many people across the UK and Ireland as possible, expanding coffee knowledge and providing the opportunity to learn from our coffee specialists.”

“The stylish and premium new boutique offers the complete Nespresso range, with tastings creating an experiential line-up providing something new and exciting for visitors. The UK is a nation of coffee lovers and this latest addition is sure to be hugely popular and complement our existing retail mix,” says Guy Thomas, head of retail at Touchwood manager Lendlease.
