Armistice pop-up for Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion has opened a pop-up store hosted by supporter Meadowhall, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1918 Armistice.
For two weeks the store will feature a poppy installation and screenings of The Royal British Legion’s Thank You 100 film. Military veterans from across the UK were invited to Meadowhall to attend the launch of the annual Poppy Appeal, which took place in Sheffield last Friday.
Volunteers will sell poppies from the store, with the proceeds providing lifelong support for the armed forces community. Last year the Poppy Appeal raised £46.6m.
