CH rebrands and redesigns for changing shoppers

Independent Irish brand CH – previously known as CH Chemists – has opened with a new brand identity, store concept and communications materials designed by Dalziel & Pow.

The family-run chemist in Tralee has been established for more than 50 years, and is evolving in response to the growing market for wellness services and beauty products. Its new identity has been designed to refresh the brand and prepare it for the future.

The chemist title has been dropped from its name to reflect the breadth of its product offer. The new CH logo has been applied across packaging, including gift boxes and paper bags, as part of the project.

In-store, each department has been given a clear identity to encourage customers to explore. There are also dedicated events spaces. Digital screens have been installed at the front of the store to attract passers-by.

“This project is a result of a lot of planning and preparation over the last two years,” says CH co-owner Peter Harty. “We have made many improvements to CH over the past 50 years but this is certainly the most extensive renovation in terms of design and investment. We want to honour the legacy of our parents who founded CH and also reinvest in our town.”
