Dutch bike brand VanMoof opens first UK store

Dutch designer bicycle brand VanMoof has opened its first UK store, at Seven Dials in London. The 149 sq m (1,600 sq ft) store has been designed by the brand’s in-house design team in Holland.

The store features a ground floor showroom space, offering test rides of VanMoof’s three exclusive models around Seven Dials. The lower level features a workshop for VanMoof bike repairs. VanMoof bikes can be personalised in-store with a range of accessories.

“We are delighted to launch this first store in the UK and expand the VanMood brand,” says the company’s UK brand development manager Leigh Richards. “We are reinventing the whole cycling experience, from buying, to repairing, to recovering and this modern showroom in busy Seven Dials is the perfect place to introduce customers to our unique way of doing things.”

The store features large and distinctive window graphics, with a bike on show to passers-by. Yellow frames hold the bikes which are available for test, with bare brick walls and tiled floor completing a pared-back interior.
