Landlord-led multi brand pop-up at the North Mayfair Emporium

Property group Grosvenor has launched its own pop-up store, the North Mayfair Emporium. The store, at 55 Duke Street, has been conceived as a landowner-led, multi-brand concept store for emerging lifestyle brands.

The company has created a new leasing model for the store, to make it easier for small brands to get retail exposure. Products on sale include womenswear, shoes for men and women, eyewear, customisable denim jackets, and fine art prints, from six independent brands: Bailey Nelson, Lumitrix, Roscomar, Sons of London, Winser London, and YOUPEOPLE.

The store’s interior has been designed by HARTH, with an eclectic feel that reflects the mix of products. A playful use of colour runs through the space, uniting gallery pieces, artworks and prints.

“The launch of North Mayfair Emporium is one way Grosvenor is working to improve the environment for those visiting, operating and working in the West End.  The concept store provides a turn-key solution with fixtures and furniture supplied and an all-inclusive lease which has made it a lot easier for these ambitious brands to take space in a prime location.  We are investing to ensure the competitive advantage of the West End for generations to come, making our estate more open, accessible and enticing to all,” says Mayfair director of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland Keith Bailey.
