Landmark site for Russell & Bromley

Footwear and handbag retailer Russell & Bromley is to open a new store at a landmark London site.

The family-owned retailer will be opening a 321.5 sq m (3,461 sq ft) store at 107 Long Acre – on a corner site opposite Covent Garden station – in autumn this year. The store, arranged over two floors, is being designed by an in-house team.

“Our new store had to be in a prominent location within Covent Garden and this corner unit, directly opposite the tube station, was an opportunity we had to secure. The plan is to launch to the public this autumn and this larger space will provide a great backdrop for our new seasons’ collections,” says Russell & Bromley owner Andrew Bromley.

Landlord The Mercers’ Company has secured a number of new retail tenants in recent months. Property director Simon Taylor says, “Russell & Bromley is a well-established and luxury brand and we are pleased to be able to provide them with this prime retail space set in the heart of Covent Garden. They join a line-up of vibrant new retailers on Long Acre, all benefitting from the high footfall we welcome year on year.”
