London flagship for House of Spells

Collectables retailer House of Spells, which has a dozen stores across the UK, has opened its first London store.

The chain’s new flagship branch is in Shaftesbury’s Central Cross development on Charing Cross Road. The 325 sq m (3,500 sq ft) has been designed by architect Dave Popa to showcase collections of books, gifts and souvenirs based on entertainment brands such as Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and Fantastic Beasts.

House of Spells general manager Sumon Ahmed says, “After a number of years trading well across the UK, we are thrilled to finally open our flagship London store. Central Cross is perfectly located for us, benefitting from Chinatown London’s footfall and just a stone’s throw away from The Palace Theatre currently showing the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays. We already feel right at home at this energetic part of London.”
