Marie France Van Damme pop-up replaced by permanent store

Hong Kong-based fashion brand Marie France Van Damme, best known for luxury resort outfits and swimwear, is to upgrade its pop-up store in Bal Harbour Shops – in Bal Harbour, Florida – to a permanent store. The pop-up has already traded for a year longer than was originally planned.

The store opened in January 2018. It was intended to trade for six months, but remained open until July this year. An updated, permanent boutique will now open in January 2020. All of the brand's stores are designed by its eponymous founder.

The 74 sq m (800 sq ft) store will present Marie France Van Damme's signature Dolce Vita ranges of day and evening wear.

“Miami is a vibrant fashion capital. Like me, our customer travels around the world, and she needs to find things that will look beautiful during the day as well as at night; from the beach to a cocktail or dinner in the evening,” says designer and namesake, Marie France Van Damme.

“It has always been a dream of mine to open a store at Bal Harbour Shops, and after extending our pop-up shop there as a result of a successful year, we are honoured to create a more permanent home for our clients in one of the world’s most exclusive luxury shopping destinations.”
