Morphe to expand UK chain with Newcastle store

US makeup brand Morphe is continuing its UK expansion programme, working with shopping centre group Intu to establish a number of new sites – including its first store in the northeast of the country.

Morphe, which uses an in-house team to design its stores, will be opening a 409 sq m (4,400 sq ft) unit at Intu Eldon Square in Newcastle later this year. Another store will open at Intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham.

The retailer is known for its range of high quality makeup brushes and popular palettes.

“We know that Morphe will thrive at Intu Eldon Square as it’s the ideal location for our newest UK store and the first in the north east of England,” says Morphe regional manager EMEA Mark Spillman. “This hugely popular shopping destination is at the heart of one of the country’s most exciting cities and attracts a high footfall thanks to the fantastic mix of retail and leisure brands already in place. We can’t wait to start offering customers in Newcastle the full Morphe experience.”
