New Hanoi store format for Runway

Vietnamese fashion retailer Runway – part of Global Link group – has introduced a new store format in Hanoi.

Designed by architect Fabio Ferrillo of Milan studio OFF Arch, the store seeks to reflect the colours and shapes of luxurious Vietnamese vegetation, combined with the essential lines of 1950s-style Italian design.

The store, in Hanois Central Building, uses a sumptuous canopy to tempt shoppers inside. Once there, they find a light and contemporary interior with Venetian terrazzo floors, contrasted with irregular carpeted areas and natural oak herringbone sections.

Large glass displays, with mirrored and polished steel surfaces and lacquered pastel accents, are used to display merchandise. A staircase, in beige Hauteville stone takes customers to an upper sales area.
