New York flagship for Richard Mille

Swiss watch brand Richard Mille has opened a flagship branch in New York. The Midtown store is Richard Mille’s largest store worldwide, and the brand’s ninth US site.

TPG Architecture worked with Viridis and the Richard Mille in-house team to design and build the store. The brief called for an environment that would embody the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship.

The store features 24 massive glass panels, with cracked glass louvres used to break up the internal space. Glass is also used for the customer lift, and the lift shaft, to allow a clear view of its working parts.

Black leather wall panels, zip details, Macassar wood finishes, and contrasting plush white carpeting are used for the interior.
