Peggy Porschen opens flagship parlour

Cake and confectionery brand Peggy Porschen has opened a second physical parlour, with an Instagrammable flagship offer that that includes a range of rooms and services.

The 223 sq m (2,400sq ft) site at 219 King’s Road in Chelsea includes The Café, The Lounge, The Salon, and The Chelsea Rose Room, and The Pink Peony Bar. The additional rooms are accessed from the main Café, which features a bespoke 5m glass patisserie counter to display freshly baked products.

The venue has launched with a café menu, with a full savoury menu to be launched later this year. A total of 64 covers is provided at the site, which will offer all-day service. Kinnersley Kent Design has developed the format.

“With its discerning, chic customer-base, the King’s Road is the ideal location to launch our second Parlour and full range of sweet and savoury delights,” says Peggy Porschen, creative director of the the brand.

“From morning coffee and pastries in the Café area through to lunch in The Salon and evening drinks at the Pink Peony Bar, come spring / summer visitors will be able to enjoy our full menu offering. We couldn’t think of a better location, than the iconic King’s Road, to unveil our seasonally adorned arches, in this prominent corner unit.”
