Peggy Porschen Parlour for King's Road

Bakery brand Peggy Porschen – opened by the eponymous award-winning cake designer - is to open an Instagrammable new flagship branch on the King’s Road in London’s Chelsea.

Kinnersley Kent Design is behind the Parlour format, which will open early in 2019. It will mark the brand’s first application of an ‘all day indulgence’ concept, offering sweet and savoury ranges from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Visually, the new branch will resemble the brand’s original Belgravia Parlour, while adding new features including a basement events space with a pink champagne bar.

The 223 sq m (2,400 sq ft) bakery will feature a pink façade, adorned with seasonally-changing floral installations. It will offer a full menu of cakes, cupcakes, and confectionery.

Established in 2003 as a bespoke wedding and celebration cake business, Peggy Porschen’s first bricks and mortar site opened in 2010. The brand is now embarking on the next stage of its growth.

“The King’s Road offers a vibrant and desirable catchment in the heart of Chelsea, and was an obvious choice for our next Peggy Porschen Parlour.  We are hugely excited to be growing our brand in this unique and historic location and can’t wait to introduce our evolved offering to both residents and visitors to the area,” says Peggy Porschen.
