POPAI has announced the nominated entries for its 2019 Awards scheme, which celebrates the best of creativity in the design and manufacture of point of purchase displays. The shortlist was unveiled at RetailEXPO.

Entries have been shortlisted in a total of 27 categories, including The Student Design Award, in advance of the awards presentation on 8 October at the Lancaster Hotel in London.

A number of companies have been shortlisted for multiple entries, with Arken P-O-P International and Haygarth each being nominated for five projects, and companies including InContrast and Communisis each being nominated for four.

In its thirteenth year, the awards scheme sees companies compete for recognition of their ability to help brands and retailers achieve goals in a challenging retail landscape.

“We are delighted to have been nominated for this year’s POPAI awards; it’s fantastic news for everyone associated with Arken P-O-P,” says the group’s international managing director Tracy Scutt.

“Such success would not be possible without the ongoing commitment of our people and the trust and support of our valuable clients. To be nominated in these highly prized industry awards is recognition of the value our clients place on the ability of Arken P-O-P to provide effective support to brand activations in-store. That we have received so many nominations is testament to the hard work of our talented team.”
