Pop-up city space launches for summer in Covent Garden

An inner-city garden pop-up has launched in London’s Covent Garden, and will host a series of feel-good events between now and the end of August.

The Lawn is situated in St Martin’s Courtyard, and is being operated by Longmartin Properties, which is a joint venture by Shaftesbury and The Mercers’ Company.

Retailers and brands including Blow, Temper, Maison Bab, Dalla Terra and Pineapple Dance Studios will be staging events in the space, supporting Pride and offering a range of beauty, fashion, food, and cultural experience. It will also see activities such as the showcasing of a Choose Love flower wall by Help Refugees.

The Mercers’ Company property director Simon Taylor says, “Longmartin Properties is committed to creating memorable experiences for visitors and retailers alike. The Lawn is a fantastic activation to bring people together, and showcase our range of creative retailers in the heart of the West End, plus supporting a selection of great causes and charities.”
