Pop-up prior to Pride Parade

A Choose Love x Pride pop-up store opened in St Martin’s Courtyard, in London’s Covent Garden, to support the capital’s Pride celebrations in the run –up to the Pride Parade last weekend.

The store at 9 Mercer Street was founded by Help Refugees, in order to raise funds for LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers. It sold just one T-shirt, which features an iconic rainbow-coloured ‘Choose Love’ logo created for Help Refugees by fashion designer Katharine Hamnett.

“We are proud to be supporting the Help Refugees charity as it is in conjunction with such a major event in London.  The launch of the Choose Love x Pride in London pop-up store was a great success and we are thrilled to bring the fun and colour of Pride to St. Martin’s Courtyard and Mercer Walk for everyone to experience,” says Simon Taylor, property director of property owner The Mercers’ Company.
