Porsche pop-up for Manchester

Automotive brand Porsche has opened its latest experiential pop-up, at Intu Trafford Centre in Manchester.

The Porsche Life pop-up store has been created to encourage customers to interact with the brand and explore its products in a digital playground environment.

A focal point of the store is a large scale model of the Mission E, Porsche’s forthcoming electric sports car. An augmented reality (AR) app allows visitors to virtually drive the vehicle, customise it, and view it with X-ray vision.

The store, understood to have been developed in-house, gives customers the chance to explore the stories and legends behind the Porsche brand.

“We’re extremely excited to see Porsche come to life in its latest pop-up store which will entice customers into our centres from further and for longer,” says Intu customer experience director Roger Binks.
