Rebrand and improved customer focus for Centre Hotels in Iceland

Icelandic hotel chain Center Hotels has been rebranded by I-AM, which has also created new features for the chain's latest branch.

The Center Hotel Laugavegur feaures a lobby, restaurant & bar, and a grab & go food concept that are new to the brand, but seek to introduce a new customer-focused experience. The three areas are known as The Heartbeat of our City, Spirit of our People, and Soul of our Island.

Refreshed branding has been introduced throughout the chain as part of the project.

“The collaboration has been a wonderful journey and we are incredibly proud of the first fruit of our labour. Stökk grab & go and Lóa Bar & Bistro, all of which have exceeded our expectations with record sales,” says Center Hotels CCO Sara Kristófersdóttir.

“This is our first project in Iceland and the entire project team at I-AM have immersed themselves in the culture of this wonderful place. The Center Hotel family are incredible and together I feel we have (and are) creating something special,” says I-AM managing director Jon Blakeney.
