Recruitment roundup: the latest new appointments in the retail design sector

Nadel Architects, based in Los Angeles, has appointed a new managing director of business development. Stella Debibi to driver business growth, including strategic development and client relations.

Debibi has more than 20 years’ experience in a variety of sectors. “Having known Ms Debibi for quite some time, her track record in the industry is exemplary,” says Herb Nadel, CEO of Nadel Architects. “She brings an additional dimension to our team given her strong finance and development experience and I have no doubt she will help us further propel Nadel’s growth on a national basis.”

Prior to Nadel, Debibi held roles with George Smith Partners, a commercial real estate investment banking firm, and also served as partner of her own business development and strategic marketing advisory firm, Debibi Strategic Partners.

US-based retail experience company Miller Zell has appointed Jeremy Buttson, former president of Commercial Design Systems, as vice president of national accounts.

Buttson’s experience regarding the in-store experience will be used to help the company drive expansion in the grocery sector.

Liah Sacco

Shopfitting and P-O-P group HMY has appointed Liah Sacco as its new marketing manager. She will be responsible for developing new marketing activity and for HMY’s brand management and corporate identity.

Sacco previously worked at Landmark Wholesale. “Liah’s marketing experience makes her a significant addition to HMY Group. Her appointment comes at an exciting time for the organisation, as we have big plans to grow the UK arm of HMY. Marketing efforts within the group have seen an increase globally, and Liah’s appointment marks the commitment to further growth and development –we very much look forward to welcoming her to the team.”

HMY’s headquarters are in France, and it operates in more than 160 countries, employing over 4,500 staff worldwide.
