US beauty brand DC Lash Bar expands to second branch

Growing beauty bar brand DC Lash Bar has opened a second branch, in the refurbished Ballston Quarter development in Arlington, Virginia. The brand’s first branch opened in Washington DC in 2016.

The store offers eyelash tinting, extensions and perming, as well as airbrush tanning services. “We’ve seen an incredible response to our eyelash and tanning services,” says founder Josie Philippe. “Opening a second shop just made sense; we’re excited to expand our capabilities and increase the number of customers served.”

Little Diversified Architectural Consulting designed the new branch of DC Lash Bar. The 78, 968 sq m (850,000 sq ft) Ballston Quarter centre is a mixed-use development featuring retail, office space, a food hall and residential apartments. It was designed by Cooper Carry.
