VM showcase: New windows for Hermés stores in UK

Fashion brand Hermés has introduced a new suite of window displays, created by artist and designer Fotis Evans, across all of its UK stores.

The windows highlight the brand’s Spring 2019 collections, and are based on its 2019 theme of ‘The Dream’. They feature scenes inspired by the 1907 George Méliès film Under the Seas and the Tiny Planets children’s TV show created by Casey Dodie.

Cracking eggs, shell-like tunnels, rocky landscapes and arched highways create an imaginary landscape in vivid colours, and seek to symbolise agile and progressive aspects of the Hermés brand.

Products from the brand’s ready to wear collections for men and women are featured in the windows, along with items from the home and equestrian ranges, displayed as if an explosive moment was captured in time.

Fotis Evans has previously created window displays for Hermés stores in New York and Hong Kong.
