How to write a retail design brief

The best designer in the world can do nothing without a brief. What challenges do you wish to address? What are the key objectives? What are the limits? And how will you measure success?

In this off the record breakfast briefing, Retail Design World editor Matthew Valentine will chair a discussion on how retailers can work with designers to establish an effective design brief, and get the most from a project.

Issues covered will include:

  • Should the design process push clients to think more broadly?
  • What is the best way to manage a client/designer relationship?
  • Making realistic budgets – and sticking to them
  • Blue sky thinking – and what to cut when rolling out to scale

*Please note this is a retailer only event, a member of the Retail Design World team will be in touch to confirm your place.
